This is a very informative resource. I just hope that some of these companies offer work from home options. I’m just new in the industry but I believe I have enough skills for this type of employment, but I’m still constantly honing my skills. Your site is very informative – highly recommendable! Did you find any work yet? I am just curious because I am wanting to work at home as well and am only finding jobs that require at least 2 years of experience. Just seeing if you have any luck or recommendations!
We do not look for jobs for ourselves personally. However all the listed companies are verified and well established companies.
I’ve been an MT for over 11 years now. Pay was fantastic at first but ever since they started sending work off shore to India and such the pay rate has dropped by 50% and pretty much very poor benefits across the board. Larger corporations are buying out the good small businesses that would treat and pay well. Very sad that a once very lucrative busines, especially for stay at home moms, has been reduced to a jog that pays no more than WalMart.
Hi Donna, thanks for stopping by. Yes, we agree with you to some extent. Outsourcing has affected many businesses in US and other part of the world and unfortunately MT is one of them. We assume this condition will change given the rise in demand for MT’s. Let’s wait and watch.

I am looking into MT online schools and there are so many varieties its hard to know which to choose! Prices range from $700 to $14,000. And courses from 4 months to 2 years. How do you know which ones companies will hire from? Any advise on choosing?
